Open Serendipity
Still have not heard from the author of the page that (mis?) quotes “Listen to Teach, Speak to Learn” so I’m suddenly less enamored of that aphorism. So what to call my blog? Such important questions. Good subject to ponder while falling asleep. For now, I’m going with Open Serendipity. I’m a big fan of open everything, and one of the many benefits of being open is that serendipity happens and, importantly, you notice.
Serendipity Happens is a great name for a blog also but it is taken several times over, by blogs and organizations. More interesting, when I googled Open Serendipity, I found this interesting article about how one scientist got into open science: How I got into open science – a tale of opportunism and serendipity, and I rediscovered the term OpenWetWare. Really interesting reading for a fan of open everything like me.
